We are delighted to be sponsoring the Young Horticulturist of the Year (YHoY) 2022 competition in the Eastern region once again.
YHoY is organised by the Chartered Institute of Horticulture and seeks to encourage and inspire young people within the industry. This is Cherry Lane’s fourth year as a sponsor of the competition, which attracts entries from horticulturists under the age of 30 from across the country.
This is a highly prestigious competition and we are very much looking forward to supporting it again this year as part of our commitment to nurturing talent in the industry. The local heats are currently being held across East Anglia, with the winner of the Eastern region heats decided on the nineteenth of March at Somerleyton Hall. The Eastern winner will progress to compete against other regional winners in the national final on the seventh of May at the University of Warwick.
With on-site nurseries at four of our garden centres, Cherry Lane’s horticultural experts grow and nurture the ‘Grown By Us’ range, which is sold exclusively in our garden centres.
