Details
Marginal plants are perfect for the borders of your pond where the water is most shallow, or perhaps on a planting shelf. They are able to tolerate waterlogged soil but should be planted no deeper than four inches below the water level. These hardy aquatic plants can be grown outside of the water also, as long as their soil is kept consistently moist.
Benefits: Very free flowering, bright yellow flowers with reddish blotches throughout the summer makes this a popular plant for the bog or water garden.
